It is important to us that our clients and dogs are happy. The situation has to be right for you and your new Pup. So where an animal is returned to Lifetime Pets within 3 days of sale, for any reason not supported by a statement from a veterinary practitioner, Lifetime Pets must take back the animal and refund 75% of the purchase price. (We will refund 100% in this situation.) We will also support you throughout any issue that you are having - Please talk to us!
No one knows what the future holds. If for any reason you are not able to keep your dog and can't find anyone who can give it a suitable home, we will always take it back and rehome it for you. Our wish is that your dog, regardless of age, will never be without a home or end up in the pound with this unconditional lifelong rehoming offer.
We pride ourselves in being conscientious breeders, meaning we thrive to breed out issues the breeds are prone to. To that end we do our best to keep up to date on new testing practices and DNA test all our dogs. That being said, nothing in life is certain, so we offer the following Health Guarantee:
Where an animal is returned to the business within 21 days of sale, accompanied by a statement from a veterinary practitioner that the animal is unacceptable for health reasons, Lifetime Pets will take back the animal and refund 100% of the purchase price.*
If the animal is diagnosed with, suffering from, dies of or is euthanised from a physical defect or disease that is traceable to a point of sale within 3 years of purchase, Lifetime Pets will refund 100% of the purchase price.*
* For that to happen, the owner has to provide supporting statements from a veterinary practitioner, including test results, where a suitable test is available. Furthermore the owner has to make veterinary reports and test results available to Lifetime Pets, so that we can obtain our own veterinary advice for the purpose of improving future breeding management. Test results and death certificates must be linked with the animals microchip number. If an heritable defect is suspected we will hold off on breeding from the affected dogs parents until all testing is complete and it is certain the parent is healthy and not responsible for the terrible defect. If we do find one of our dogs to be the reason we will have him or her retired immediately.
